**"Hyakuemu" to Receive Rotoscoped Film Adaptation in 2025**
The acclaimed manga series "Hyakuemu" is set to receive a rotoscoped film adaptation, slated for release in 2025.
The film will be directed by Kenji Iwaisawa, known for his work on "Ongaku" Character design and animation will be handled by Keisuke Kojima, while Keikankun Yamaguchi will serve as art director. The animation will be produced by the renowned studio ROCK'N ROLL MOUNTAIN.
"Hyakuemu" follows the story of Togashi, a naturally gifted runner who effortlessly triumphs in every 100-meter race. However, upon meeting Komiya, a determined transfer student with poor technique, Togashi discovers a newfound purpose in teaching him the secrets to victory.
As the years pass, Togashi and Komiya reunite as rivals on the track, each determined to prove their worth. In their fierce competition, they gradually reveal the depths of their characters and their unyielding determination to succeed.
The film's rotoscoping technique involves tracing live-action footage frame by frame, creating a unique blend of realism and artistic expression. This approach promises to capture the intense emotions and thrilling action of "Hyakuemu" with unprecedented authenticity.
