Mitsuo Iso's The Orbital Children Anime Unveils Cast, Theme Song in Trailer

The Orbital Children by Mitsuo Iso first original film after 15 years is a two-part Japanese anime science fiction film series written and directed by Mitsuo Iso, with part 1 scheduled for release on January 28, 2022, and part 2 on February 11 2022. Character designs for the anime are provided by Kenichi Yoshida.

In November 2021, Netflix acquired global distribution rights and will release the project as a two-part six-episode series on January 28, 2022, to coincide with part 1's debut in Japan.

Synopsis -
In the year 2045, the Internet and artificial intelligence have become widespread in outer space. Following a massive accident at a space station, a group of children are left behind. Using narrowband and SNS, low intelligence AI, and smartphone-controlled drones, they overcome numerous crises.
