Moriarty's Perfect Crime Anime Adaptation Announced

**Moriarty's Perfect Crime Gets Light Anime Adaptation**

Moriarty the Patriot's webtoon series, Moriarty's Perfect Crime, is set to receive a "light anime" adaptation beginning on July 19. This adaptation will take the form of a motion comic, similar to recent adaptations of other popular webtoon series.

The anime will be narrated by Ryota Suzuki as James Moriarty and Yuri Noguchi as Sherry Moriarty. The teaser PV released alongside the announcement gives a glimpse of the upcoming adaptation's visuals and introduces the two main characters.

Moriarty's Perfect Crime is an adaptation of the popular Kuromeika's novel series Moriarty's Perfect Crime, which tells the story of James Moriarty, the most fearsome criminal, met his demise after a confrontation with a famous detective at a certain waterfall. He found himself possessed by a beautiful young lady from another world, and what he saw there was the insidious abuse by other noble daughters. He has no memory, but his brain is still the same. He wields the power of his lucid mind and the perfect crime equation to the fullest for the sake of only one girl in a world without a great detective. The bullied young lady dies and is reborn as Moriarty, a villainess without blood or tears.

The original Moriarty's Perfect Crime webtoon, authored by Kuromeika, is available on Comikey. The anime adaptation is produced by Kodansha and will be available for streaming on TBA.
